Shaka B - Biography

 

African born, West Indian mentored, Shaka comes from a mixed vibrant cultural background drawing influence from all genres with energy.


Starting off as an MC alongside Deafo he found his feet in the basics of structure, flow and content. Shortly after he teamed up with Dren to create the double time politicaly based Clear My Throat.

For the past couple years he's got more and more production driven, seeing the side in music rapping just doesnt offer he can epress anger hype aggression and energy in a different light. Even though most of his influence was once old school hip hop he's developed a taste for everything and anything with a swing, tough bassline and style.

Influences vary from Supercat to the Ragga Twins, Prodigy to Wiley, A Tribe Called Quest to Swizz Beats and everything in between.
